What is the turn around time?

Our turn around time is approximately 7-10 business days from the date brought in. If it is for a special occasion or emergency, AAU will complete it by the date needed.

If I place a special order, how long does it take to arrive?

Each brand varies on time frame, but depending on if it is in stock, it could be anywhere from 5-10 business days. Any items that are on backorder are with the brand, not AAU - that means it will require a longer time frame for it to arrive to our location. Once a back order is in stock, we begin working immediately to complete your order.

When will I know if my order is ready?

All completed orders will receive a text message.

When do I pay for my order?

All orders are to be paid in full at the time of purchase, whether or not the item is in stock or has to be ordered.

Does AAU carry different department patches for uniforms?

Yes! AAU carries multiple different department patches, braiding, service stripes, sr. stripes, and chevron stripes. However, if you have patches or your department provides you with patches you may use those for your order. 

Does AAU sew, embroider, offer alterations or screen printing?

Yes! AAU offers all of these options for all different departments. Depending on your needs, come in to AAU and we can help you get situated. We do have a golden rule, if the uniform is purchased through AAU some alterations are a courtesy and free of charge. If a uniform is brought in from another location or website, fees will occur for any and all work done to the item or items. 

Does AAU make nameplates?

Yes! AAU does carry and make nameplates on site.

Can my spouse or family member pick up my order?

Yes! AAU allows a spouse or a family member to pickup an order as long as the first responder that placed the order notifies AAU staff.
